new U.K. fashion was created in 1990 when Elisabeth Leishman introduced her personalised wedding candles and candle favours on to the British market. For the first time, a wax artist had made her work available to the British public and success was immediate. The range of candles has since been expanded to include new styles and designs, but the high standard of quality and service remains unchanged.

efore moving almost exclusively to wedding candles, Elisabeth had devoted herself to Bavarian Waxcraft. This traditional craft, from her native Bavaria, has origins stretching back over two centuries. Candles are part of the heritage, but interest centres mainly on the fashioning of special moulding wax (red, amber or ivory) into a fascinating range of wall plaques, figures and Christmas decorations. All articles are hand-finished to give an attractive antique effect. Elisabeth has a range in excess of 700 items, and her total mastery of this demanding craft has been successfully demonstrated at innumerable exhibitions over the years.
